Get good grades. Find an extracurricular activity in which you excel.
If you are the 1st in your family to go to college there is a scholarship for that.
Ask your parents if their workplace offers scholarships in which you can apply.
There are many out there. Talk with your school counselor.
My daughter had A's and B's in high school and she ended up with enough scholarships that it paid her entire 4 yr. tuition.

one of the sure fire ways is to join the military and get the us government to pay for your school. There are obvious dangers to that of course.

While a full ride is unlikely for good grades, you can get a partial scholarship for good grades a high ACT or SAT score, and in participation of an extra curricular activiy if you happen to excel. There are also a lot of scholarships available if you do the time to look for them.

Make an appointment for you and your parents with your guidance counselor. Start setting your sites on which scholarships would be the best fit for you. Your parents will also need to fill out all of the financial aid forms and will need assistance. Don't be shy about filling these out, most scholarships whether they are need based or not require them.

make good grades, join clubs and be active in extra curricular stuff. also if ur good at sports...be the best on the team and u will get drafted for college teams
