Yes, but it wasn't all Jews that were slaughtered. There were Gypsies, Poles, Africans, homosexuals..... anyone that didn't fit into the 'ultimate race' were exterminated.

The numbers have also been increased over the years, but that's history for you. Facts are twisted and someone always gets more sympathy than another because they have something to gain.

Just to add, my husbands father was part of the British contigent that went to Auschwitz after the gates were opened when Germany was defeated. He saw the people and the devestation, it would be a very clever trick indeed in that era to construct such a joke.

the saying "ignorance is bliss" must really be true. Yes of course the Holocaust really happened. Didn't you ever pay attention to history class in school? Haven't you ever heard about the evil actions of Hitler? Haven't you ever heard of Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsen, or any of the concentration camps? Didn't you ever see the episode on 7th Heaven when Simon Camden saw the old lady with the number tattooed on her wrist? (the lady in the show was based on a real survivor of Auschwitz) Have you ever seen the movie "Schindler's List"? Haven't you ever read or heard of "The Diary of Anne Frank"?? That was written by a real girl during the time of the Holocaust.

Yes the Holocaust really happened, it was a horrific span of time when millions of Jews & other "imperfect" people (those who were handicapped physically, or gay, or abusers, etc.) or races were killed because they weren't of the "pure Aryan race" that Hitler tried to create. If you have to question whether or not the Holocaust really happened, you need to look into these things I suggested.

I have an observation to make. so far, 3 people have seriously denied the existence of the holocaust in responses. Look at their nicks. Does it make Arabs feel better about their hatred of Israel to deny the Holocaust? It happened. One responder said 6 million in a month!!!!! Where did that come from? It was at least 6 million Jews and something over 3 million, maybe as many as 9 million others who were murdered over a period of several years.

Of course it's true. Do you think all those skin and bones people in the film clips were actors that starved themselves for months to get a walk-on part in a Nazi propaganda movie?

I don't think anyone disputes that Jews were killed, but I think some people dispute how many were killed. I personally believe the reported number of deaths (about 6 million).

The word 'holocaust' is defined as:

1.a great or complete devastation or destruction, esp. by fire.
2.a sacrifice completely consumed by fire; burnt offering.
3.any mass slaughter or reckless destruction of life.

So based on these definitions, we know that the holocaust happened.

Yes, it's true. You can still find a few survivors alive today. There is no way anyone could ever deny the holocaust. There is way too much evidence to prove otherwise. We pray to GOD nothing like that ever happens again. Thank you.

You wouldn't have to ask that question if you'd seen the old man in New York's garment district with the S.S. numbers burned into his wrist. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Holocaust took place. Don't believe racist, anti-semite idiots! The Holocaust was real, sadly. Don't take my word for it. Read about Reinhard Heydrich, Joseph Goebbels and the other architects of the nightmare. It's all real.

Yes, it did happen. There exist thousands of written documents, compiled by the Waffen SS, that provide exquisitely detailed accounts of the dozens of concentration camps wherein the calculated, deliberate effort to exterminate an entire people were carried out.

I spent three years in Germany, and met two men who had in fact worked at one of those camps, and not as prisoners! Each of them not only admitted the fact, each had kept written and photographic records of their time at the camps.

If you're a holocaust denier, I suggest you stay of of Germany; denial of the holocaust is a federal crime in today's Germany that will earn you a substantial jail term and large fines!

Yes, it is true. My great uncle was one of the 12 judges who presided over the Nuremberg trial. He helped sentence Nazi war criminals for the atrocities perpetrated against the Jewish people. It is chilling reading the original testimonies from those war criminals.

Unfortunatly it is true my father was over there fighting in that war and as he has passed away I have his pictures from that time and have pictures of the ovens they were burned in. I will keep them but it is disturbing to look at and know that people were put in them. To deny history like that is like saying after your parents are gone there is no proof of your birth so do you exist?

It is an undeniable fact, backed by so much evidence. Just ask the survivors in Israel, if you don't believe it. Read more on wikipedia, search for holocaust.
