JLU was awesome.
I'm 28 and watch that show all the time. Animated series is the best way to show the comic book world to everyone else.
I tell my friends to watch all this stuff, and they look at me crazy. The Storylines on these shows are amazing.
The JLU was the last of the real superhero animated series.
Cartoon Network needs to get it together.

JLU was one of the top ten shows ever made (including non-animated ones). The characters were well developed. The situations the show created were really interesting. And the animation was amazing-- even better than on the other Bruce Timm series, which have fantastic animation to begin with. I'm sad that the show is off the air, but I'm not sure it was all the Cartoon Network's fault. Interviews I've read with the people who made the show indicated that they were ready to move on to other projects. The fifth season was already starting to feel a little long in the tooth; it wasn't nearly as good as the fourth or second seasons, and a lot of that seemed caused by the writers struggling to figure out what to do with the characters. If the show could have continued at its same high level of quality, I would have loved to continue watching it. But if that wasn't possible because the people working on it lost interest (and couldn't be replaced with equally talented people), then I'd rather that the show went out on a high note.
...But I sure do miss the show.

Sure, it was great to see and recognize many DC Universe characters who would never have made it to the screen otherwise, but it left on a positive high note rather than a low one. I think it's great to have quality stuff and we should prefer quality over quantity any day. It was time for a change though. What do others think? Should the trinity (Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman) form a new league with up to 4 rotating members per episode or some other interesting way to continue the adventures of the DCU. Hey maybe a separate series: DC Universe Animated series could feature any characters or team ups, or different teams (like JSA, Titans, Outsiders etc).

completly it was my favorite, an i sorely miss it. I am a little woried for the New Frontier movie theyare making. It seems as if DC is headed down the Marvel straight to DVD movie route as opposed to series. Which seems sort of silly. DVDS are essintialy one shots, whereas shows are long term, and you still get the sales boost of DVD sales.
Oh if only comics comp[anies actualy listened to the people that bought their products as opposed to always looking for the BBD!

2005 was just a so-so year. I don't like all the decisions I made that year. 2007-2011 were wonderful years. Remotely, 1981 thru 1995 were good years.

Big mistake? I say it was the greatest mistake they had committed. It was one big show where everyone would find their favourite superheroes battling out to save the world. I do hope the show continues some day!

I think they did. It was a superhero cartoon that adults could also enjoy.

I couldn't see them making it run any longer, it was good but after a while they would not be able to keep it on top.
