Most people think of computer as a pc (a screen and keyboard)
but these are just the wrappers.
The computer is really the CHIP this can be programmed with a few or a large number of 'commands' triggered by electrical impulse. So applications in modern life are unlimited.
Most modern transport uses some form of inboard computer to aid speed, safety and comfort.
Instruments in cars, ships and planes are often computer controlled. The electricity you use in the home now has relays that are computer controlled.
Computers don't do things, they do things more quickly or consistently when programmed accordingly.
So there is virtually nothing in today's modern world that is not computer controlled.

By having access to the Internet,we are no longer using the Grey Matter as we should. As nearly everything is within easy reach,we no longer have to search for the answers ourselves.
It doesn't help with a young child's writing ability,as 99% of P.Cs now come with printers, one way or the other.
On the other hand,it's really good for the older generation, because of today's technology, using a computer is really easy.
It gives them back a sense of independence.

My computer allows me to cheat on school work.
It has a spell check, and I can ask people on Yahoo Answers stuff because I'm too much of a lazy asss to do it myself.
It even has an online encyclopedia and a dictionary! Damn this bitchh rocks! Oh yeah, and I can print shitt out so I don't have to write it.
5 sentences, I used all of the writing traits, I think you'll get an A+!
P.S On the words "asss, bitchh, and shitt" remove the last letter of each word listed.
Good Luck and Hope This Works

With much less of a depence on direct communique and letter writing we are witnessing a greater insular, greater individualized society with much less inter-social skills. As social skills shrink, people affiliate much less with different people, isolation will enhance and so the assumption of a actual connection to the exterior international is ultimately seen as a gruesome necessity and so the assumption of social issues and responisibility look much less substantial. With the putting up of on line communities persons are giving out the message that they are in a position to create a utopia the place the society outdoors is beside the point.

They allows us to have spell checking facilities so when we type a document we can detect grammar and spelling errors such as "are" being used instead of "our" incorrectly. This allows us to get by without ever knowing anything ourselves because we can just ask the computer or Google it or Just visit Yahoo Answers!

Computers affect our day to day lives because we can use them for so many things. We can access and play music, communicate instantly with people long distances away. We can also ask people on the internet to do our homework for us.

I used to go to the library for information...now I have my own library sitting on my desk. I used to phone my Sister in New Zealand once a month and it cost me a fortune...now I talk to her and can see her every other day, and it costs me nothing.
Life has changed with computers, I almost feel sorry for those of you who weren't here before, to realise how much life has changed.
