Years ago I had the opportunity to talk to Jack Welch, the legendary CEO of General Electric. He made a point I'll never forget: "If you were not in the position you are in today, would you be fighting to get in there tomorrow? If that answer is 'No', you owe it to yourself to find that position worth fighting for."
