My baby has centered herself in my abdomen, and I can tell she is running our of room. She still moves a lot, but her movements are slower and seem to be harder, like she is pushing for room. My back pain has also increased. Could this mean she is getting ready, or is she just running out of room? I am 35+ weeks and have had PTL, and I am already 80% effaced and 2 cm dilated. I am also having BH contractions that are irregular, sometimes they wake me up at night.

I know it's silly to try to predict when she is coming, but I just can't help it! Every new symptom makes me wonder...

Also, the baby is already engaged, she has been too low all along. Her head is at +1 station, but has been for a while. I can't walk or stand up for more than a couple of minutes :)

For the rude people, I go to the ob and and perinatoligist once a week each. I am just curious about the personal experiences of others as pregnancy is a widely variable experience.

Usually the babe's drop LOW when you are about to go into labor. You feel very sore down there and it makes it hard to walk. They do move less as there is less room in there. BH contrax can last weeks before you deliver. You'll probably go right on time :)
Once she drops low you are closer!

no its not labor yet your just getting really really close. if you have doubts just go to your doctor he'll be able to tell you if its real labor. you should expect to see your baby very soon
when the contractions are regular and like 3-5 mins apart then it will be the real thing. time them for like a hour unless something like your water breaks (trust me you'll know when it does)
hope this helps
Good luck and congrats

Don't you have a doctor? It's amazing to me you would ask any question on Yahoo questions relating to your unborn child and trust a bunch of strangers to tell you. Medical questions should not be allowed on Yahoo Answers. Go to webmd.com
