Are they as good as some people say they are or not?

They're fun to read, but I think they give people the wrong impression of what Wicca really is. The lean too much into the fantasy world of witches like the Wizard of Oz. Isobel Bird's "Circle of Three" series is better. They focus more on the reality of Wicca as a religion than Tiernan's do. I think Tiernan's books misinform while Bird's books are much better at educating people about what Wicca really is while at the same time being entertaining to read.

I've not read them myself but I've not heard good things about them. If you want to seriously read up on Wicca and witchcraft I'd recommend the following authors, Raymond Buckland, Cassandra Eason, Doreen Valiente, Rae Beth and Kate West.

except those are being offered as ebooks (which i did no longer see in a short seek), you're probable out of success. they are secure by utilising copyright until 70 years after Tiernan dies. thinking the popularity of her artwork, enable's desire that is no longer for a protracted time.

I enjoyed them, mostly because I know they aren't about REAL Wicca.

Since it's a series I can't really pick a favorite.

if you want to read novels about wicca than yeah theyre great!
but they are slightly over rated.
if you want to read wiccan teen fiction than do
but if you want to learn the craft go join a coven.
