A positive attitude would be the number one quality for starters. However, a person ideally should have more than one quality trait to get to their desired goals in life. One person’s success versus another is really a matter of opinion. For example, I might think that raising children and keeping my family together could be considered achievements of mine that made me become successful in life... but another person might not agree.
I realize you asked for "the best quality" and I do feel strongly that a person with a positive attitude will usually be able to achieve anything they desire in life. With that said though, a person that is known to have ethics and integrity will most certainly have greater chances of achieving desired results for their life.
Now if we combine the qualities listed above with qualities such as perseverance, determination, and a commitment to do the best each day, I believe nothing would be able to stand in the way of a person becoming extremely successful in life!
