Fair and equal is not a priority. Remember Yahoo is a business and the priority here it to make money. Nothing is ever allowed to cut into profits!

I don't think it is a real mediator. I think there is a software program going on. someone reports you, you get deleted. Because people will only use good judgement, and never just report random things as offensive.

Well, I don't know. I HAVE questioned it before, but from what I hear, there are just as many people on the religion and spirituality section who go there and insult. I don't feel that it is a problem strictly for our section; I guess that it must be a simple product of the system here. I have tried to figure out ways to fix this, and supposedly yahoo is working on this, but I have no idea how to solve it!

I think you're only dealing with software, not actual people. If you question a violation notice, they do sometimes undo it. Most of the time it's all autopilot though. Don't take it personally.

Unclefrunk's right (again)... I've been reported for the most innocuous cr@p - but the REALLY offensive ignoramuses get to stay.

I'll probably be reported for this answer too...

Men of ill judgment oft ignore the good that lies within their hands, till they have lost it.

Oh? Do they actually investigate? I thought it was just whichever was reported most would be left intact and whatever was least reported would be deleted.
