I know by keeping the interests of others that I find disturbing, non productive, vulgar, vile etc out of my life and dealing with those that interfere, my mind is a better place.
Like trying to keep my cupboard free of the clutter from others. This gives me more 'room' to use my mind for my interests and not be bugged by that from others. Of course if I share the same interests and ideals then my thoughts can't get bunged up with rubbish.
what do you think about this.

I think everyone neeeds to set goals for themselves and that in order to achieve those goals they need to prioritize which means say "no" to activities that do not contribute to their goals.

Yes i do believe that keeping your self away from people who are negative and act negative can free your mind of most disturbing things and insecurities. But some times problems lie within yourself mate. And those demons will not go away if you are intelligent. Intelligence means less ignorance. and ignorance is bliss but also can be harmful to yourself.

You're doing the right thing but for the wrong reason. We need to keep our minds clean because we need the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and if we harbor sin in our thoughts, He can't live with sin and therefore won't live in us.

well, whatever yu do , someday , somehow you'll find someone u don't like whom u have to deal with. whatever yu do he's never pleased of you. It goes back to his or her past experiences. to what they believe in and whom they dealt with. there are haters and ppl who don't like you for no reason. Keep yur 'cupboard' clean but put in mind that there are ppl who dont like yu and that unwillingly you'll have to deal with them .

With Men - we think about sex - 23 hours 59 minutes a day...
Women... they think about rattling the Credit Card all day ...and they think about sex if we are lucky - that 1 minute Men dont..
As long as its all above board and Legal & you can keep your thoughts in your mind...Keep on thinking...
