The price of crude oil is quote in the financial section of your newspaper in the commodities section. You can also get a quote online.

There is no one answer to your question as there are different qualities of crude oil that sell at different prices. Eg Edmonton Light $64.32 Brent $55.29.

In my day we consulted 'Platts Oilgram' which announced petroleum products prices world-wide on a daily basis.
Do you know the crude you want to research?
Look for that name in the appropriate section of the commodities page of most newspapers.
Look up meaning of "cif" and "fob".
