And right out of the box I'm having problems, No matter the game be it Wii or gamecube they keep on ejecting on their own. Any ideas on "triage" or do i have to send it in to be repaired.

First dont think the wii is bad just cuz your having problems. And are you putting the disk in with the printed side facing the right of the system. And if it still does that call nintendo and see what they recommend before you do anything.

are you putting the disc in right side up? the label side should be to the left if your console is positioned vertically. Is something pressing the eject button without you knowing it? Are you connected to the Internet? Maybe you need to perform a system update.

If you bought a replacement plan or any sort of extended warranty, then take it back to the store. Otherwise, call nintendo. They can direct you to the closest authorized repair center in your area. And since it's still new, it should still be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Either way, it couldn't hurt to give nintendo a call, they've always very been helpful when I have called them in the past.

You have a "Bad Egg". Take your Wii back now and get a refund!
