could be the mega mouth shark we've only saw one, there are many waiting to be put on the list as it takes not sighting for 50 years to qualify.China's yangtze river dolphin (1 left), the barn door skate perhaps. check out a gap in nature by tim flannery and peter schouten for a wonderful if albeit sad look at some of the worlds best known extinctions, and those on the brink.
