IF YOU POST ANY ANSWER THAT I FEEL MAY (OR MAY NOT) OFFEND SOMEONE, I WILL REPORT IT.
THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME FOR SOME OF THE ANSWERS I HAVE GIVEN.

I AM A STRAIGHT MAN AND STATED I WOULD RATHER BE FLAYED ALIVE THAN BE GAY! INSTANT VIOLATION.

AM I BEING PETTY FOR LASHING OUT WITH REPORTS IF I FIND ANYTHING THAT HAS A VAGUE FEEL THAT COULD BE TAKEN AS OFFENSIVE???

Nope your not being petty....I just got a violation myself....not to add minus 12 points!

Some people have nothing better in life to do but play Yahoo police and report people for petty crap!

The sad part is that this pettiness will only make people quit coming on here and playing a part in yahoo answers....and I sent yahoo a message back that I stand behind my answer and will continue to answer as I feel appropriate......not yahoo or cry babies!

I only wait to get reported for this one too......But good luck to you!

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when it becomes abusive it takes on a whole new meaning.

I have answered really silly questions in a equally silly manner and usually the top answer is the silliest reply as well .
However they is some very serious questions on here that people answer in such a obnoxious rude way and I feel they is no need for that . I have only ever reported one person to date as he replied to a young girl of 15 question , what he would like to do to her sexually . I found that disgusting and reported him.

The type of violation notice I usually get in relation to an answer is, " not an answer or a question". I suppose if someone has a downer on you they can use any excuse.

As with 'private' above, I won't be told how to think by anyone.

I totally agree. I feel the same way about gays too. But don't over-do the report abuse thing. I'm affraid Yahoo! will get tired of removing offensive answers/questions, and just let them all go.

I had a violation too for not supporting gay adoption.

My answer was fair,to the point and didnt insult in any way whatsoever.

This sort of attitude from the gays is just one of the reasons they shouldnt adopt.

I don`t like the thought of having it up the a.s.s either, being reported for saying so, is just plain stupid. I pity your nemesis.
