Is it because of stress which made you smoke? If so,try not to get so stress up and relax yourself.Reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke by time and you will get used to it.

My husband, who smoked since he was eight years old (believe it or not) decided he wanted a new car so we figured the monthly cost for 3 packs a day was quite a bit and could pay for a car. He had a decision to make and he choose the car.
It started out with the gum and after a week the thought of the new car kept him going, it has now been four years and two new cars.
Good luck! Find a good thought!

I used the Nicotine patch for the full term that helped, also you need a support group or buddy.
Eat a lot of fruit, drink a lot of water and excercise, even when you don't feel like it excersice, it releases endomorphins in your brain that help you cope with withdrawal.
I also went to Quitnet.com and got support from fellow quitters, good luck.

As an ex-smoker, it almost killed me to quit. Today they are putting patients on the patch and also on Wellibutrin - an antidepressant that helps you through withdrawal.
Smoking will most likely kill you so I hope you make it.

cut back and only smoke when you need one. My boyfriend only needs to smoke when he drinks so he will give me a pack to hang onto and then when he really needs it I give him one. Maybe there is someone in your life that you can do that with.
