an xbox 360 core system with memory card and 1 game or a playstation 2 with 19 game (cheap games) and final fantasy 7 8 9 on plastaion 1 and a gamecube with zelda twilght princess. to get the xbox it will cost me a lot more than getting the playstation and the gamecube with the games

I also own all the systems you mentioned and it really depends on your preferences. I love my 360 and their are some good games but not a lot of RPG's Have you considered going with the Nintendo Wii which also plays the older games and is the least expensive of the new gen games. The one thing you need to think about it the decrease in PS2 and Gamecube titles versus a ever expanding 360 library. The PS3 is great but $$$

playstation with all those games + final fantasys (FF games are great) - theres more to play and more chance at diversity not only in all the different games you can play but also the fact that its playstation - so the games are cheaper
i personally have all 3 consoles you stated
or alternatively save your money (£425) and get the playstation 3 when it comes out in march
