If you get enough stars you can go on the popular list. It seems pointless to me too. I wish the questions had thumbs up and down too. Now we can't judge bad questions.

Hey! I read that youtube is going to pay money to people who submit videos and that are viewd lots of times...don't have the whole information but I'm sure you can check it online...that's a way to make money with your browsing :)
