The difference should be 4 to 5 years. the reasons are:

Biological as the females have menopause at the age of 42+ (avg) but sex for males remain alive till 46 to 50.

Social: As the head of the family, he should be the most experienced and aged one to control everything

see friend i will tell you onething,its netter that to see the groom for a girl with a minimum of 6 years difference,why iam telling this means,if both the bride and groom in the same age means,they will think like same,life wont go smothly,if a problem has came means both will think same and take a wrong decision and will be captured by the problem,my dad and mom is a best exaple for that,for me and my husband 11 years difference,he will take care me as a child you know,so if you are searching for a mate means please remember my answer,all the best for your married life,

the age difference should be only 6 years or less because u don't want to marry someone who is way tooo old for u!!!!!!!!!!!!
