There are thousands of charities. Millions of volunteers doing work they enjoy for no other reason than wanting to help others.
Friends and relatives look after each other, seek solace in each other and appreciate each other. Every day in your town this goes on -but you probably don't see it and it certainly doesn't get publicity. If you want to feel good, do good.

While we may lament the fact that men do not act in a manner consistent with man being created in the image of God, nevertheless, everything is just as God intended. God has given us the free will to choose the path that we follow. The world is a vast carnival of experiences that are presented to us so that we have the opportunity to choose God. Just like light can be broken down into the more beautiful colors of the visual spectrum, the Holy Spirit takes the pure creative vibration and breaks it into the more beautiful colors of love, joy, peace, wisdom, kindness, self-less devotion. The Holy Spirit teaches us the richness and full measure of these gifts freely given to us by God and permits us to appreciate God's omnipresence.

The realisation of all that is commonly understood to be wrong, and by realisation I do not mean just a sensation or information, or even an experiential knowledge of the things wrong, but the things that are actually established in human life, human societies and therefore within human thought; the realisation of something wrong will not be complete until that some things is wilfully committed, known and still objected to as wrong. We do just that, and there is the trouble, exactly where there is also hope.
It is a sheer wonder of human mind that we all do wrong things but we never full submit to them; we never whole-heartedly accept them to be right despite our inability to get rid of them altogether. We vehemently object to wrong things, we realise all that is wrong first by doing wrong and then by knowing and acknowledging that that was wrong; we all do this at one place in our life or the other. This is something about human mind that is wrongly right in the beginning and rightly wrong in the end.

Start with the philosophy of Kahlil Gibran "that which sings and contemplates within you is still within the bound of that first moment that saw the stars cast into space". There is so much to explore, to refresh and renew - try Hauturu Island - a sanctuary in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf.

The feeling of being in nature and realising that there is something bigger than you, maybe a god, or some sort of divine conciousness.
Also there is the kind side of human nature. Everytime I feel like I'm losing my faith in human nature, someone always proves me wrong.

The party starts with your avatar having a nice grin while you ask the question and ends with Dame Julian of Norwich - "All will be well and all will be well and all manner of things will be well".
