Put a cup of vinegar in the wash after you have filled it up with water. Let it soak for a little while. Finish washing it. Don't forget to use detergent also. When you get it out, it will have a high vinegar smell. Don't fret, the smell will go away once it's dry. There should be no smell. We used this trick for years when a family member worked in fast food. Works great!

Take it to a professional and tell them what is going on.. they got stuff that will permanently remove the odor. Fabreze is okay but you have to reapply near every day. If you wash it yourself it might work, if you use a fabric softner, but then it might smell too perfumey for you. At least at the dry cleaners they can wash it and be assured the smell will be gone.

Go to your local wal-mart, or any other store like that and in the sporting goods department(hunting) they sell this spray to neutralize human scent. It comes in plastic bottle with a pump sprayer. This stuff works really well and right now, its on discount because hunting season is over. I hope this works for you.

Take it to the dry cleaners. Most have ozone rooms or machines that they can use to get the odor out if washing with detergent and water does not do it.

Hang it outside when it's nice and breezy and let it air out even several days. Then store it in a plastic bag with a sachet inside.
