Can you point to a specific source? I'm not looking for the answer "Hitler" because the idea was around long before him - and it is a prevalent idea still in places like India. Is it written in a holy book somewhere or any specific socio-political source?

thanks for a good question: The 'Great' civilizations and empires beginning 6000 years ago were ALL either asian or white european i.e. china, rome, greece... and ultimitely they all were cruel and warlike and battling for supremacy so the lighter skin 'societies' were in controll from the git-go.

I dont know the timelines or the history well but for example African civilization never attained or evolved to that 'great' status so there is a history of these peoples being controlled and kept powerless.

Surely there is much work to be dont but there is surely progress in the attainment of equality for dark skinned people... I hope it does not take thousands of years.

Many believe that the "mark" that was put on Cain and his decendants after killing is brother Abel was dark skin. That's the earliest origin of that line of thinking I've ever heard.

I don't think you will ever find the answer to this question. This way of thinking has probably existed since the beginning of man.
