If this were an interview question, I would try to tie in my beliefs and values. For instance, as a teacher I am motivated to be the best teacher I can because I believe that thoughtful educational practice has the power to mitigate social inequities.
Show a personal connection as well as honesty (I'm in education because it is a steady paycheque).
