With activity.
Follow the leader- they follow the leader, doing whatever he does.
Red Light/ Green Light- you stand at the front of the room, and have them move forward when you say green light, and stop when you say red light. Anyone who moves during a red is out. The first person to you is the next leader.
Airplane/Train- you put chairs in a line, and have the kids sit in each chair and be some part of the plane/train, and make appropriate noises/actions for each.
Tent/Cabin- use blankets and sheets, and drape them over furniture like chairs, etc, making tents here and there around the room for them to play in.

Get a roll of newspaper print from your local newspaper...they usually give away remnants...
roll it across the floor, and let everyone sit on it/lie on it, and make their own picture, and then hang the whole thing across the wall, making a banner.

That's a great age, and they are usually very easily entertained. That age loves to go to the park, finger painting, baking cookies, hide and seek, the zoo. They are usually high energy at that age, so pretty much anything that exerts energy or stimulates their mind.

You play with them like make them laugh or bring them toys.If they start to cry, distract them like tappng a metal on a wood.this way they close their mouths and a smile swims across their face.Well,if that doesn't happpen atleast they dont cry!
