if you are saying 8 + x/3 =10 then you simply:

think 3 x 2=6 so 6/3 would equal 2 so add that by 8 and you get 10, so easy a caveman can do it lol

Yes!

8 +x/3 = 10
x/3 = 10 - 8
now you multiply the question with 3
(x/3) multiply 3 = (10-8) multiply 3
x = 2 multiply 3
x=6

move the 8 to the right side and it becomes x/3=10-8.
therefore x/3=2.
now move the 3 to the right side and it becomes a multiplicand.
therefore x=3*2
therefore x=6.
i hope this is a serious question and i hope this helps
