I hear all these rumors about Clay's sexuality...I really don't care whether he's gay or not...i love him, nonetheless..But he has denied being gay in the past, and to my knowledge he has not "openly" came out yet...so perhaps there is a strong possibility that he is straight. What do you all think?

He is gay- he just does not want to get that negative label while he is on the top of his game. Look at Lance he waited until he was out of the spotlight before he made the announcement. Clay will eventually come out just give the boy time. It has been a busy couple of years for him and he is basking in the limelight.

I think he is an awesome singer and whether he is gay or not has no bearing on his talent. I think most people liked him because he was so open and honest on Idol. He has denied being gay and if he is truly honest which most people believe, then I guess we have to take his answers at face value. If he choses to enlighten us all in the future, then I guess we will hear it from him at that time..

Although I personally think he is gay, I don't think it is up to anyone but himself to tell us. Coming out is a deeply personal and sometimes painful thing and even though he is in the spotlight, I think it is safe to say, those of us who went through coming out would not be thrilled with being dragged out. It's one thing to lynch an anti-gay hypocrite like Ted Haggard, it's another thing to attack someone who may simply not be ready.

In the meantime, he deserves to have a part of his life for himself, away from prying eyes and innuendo. Leave him be, he will do what he must, when he is ready, until then I again say, leave him be.

I worked with Clay when he was a teenager. He was and is a GREAT guy. His sexual orientation is nobody's business but his and his significant other's.

Also, he hasn't had plastic surgery. He looks almost exactly like he did at 16.

I enjoyed his track "Invincible" till now I knew the lyrics. Then i found out the track grew to become into stated as "Invisible." the belief of an invisible Clay only observing me in my room creeps me out.

As a fan and not his lover, it's none of your business.
