Far too much public money is wasted on treating homosexuals differently to others which seems to be a contrary to the aims of those who want equal rights.
It seems to me that heterosexuals get the sharp end of the stick these days.
What do you think?

Homosexuals are legally a protected class in our country so you may not discriminate against them nor should you. Heterosexual white males like myself must be extra careful not to offend any protected class of people in America or we're likely to be prosecuted. All who are in a protected class however are free to offend us to their hearts content because legally my rights are less important and not equal to theirs. Only in America! The funny thing is I harbor no ill will towards any of you and yes I know the feeling is not mutual. Remember hate will consume you so beware.

Do you really believe that homosexuals get more money than anyone else? If that is the case, I will gladly support you in getting things changed, but please show me the maths.
I would imagine, that just like the Daily Heil tubthumpers who are always complaining about the 'millions' of 'illegals' that are running the UK nowadays, your assertions are based in prejudice rather than fact.
If you can demonstrate that heterosexuals are getting a raw deal, then despite coming from a completely different position, I'd support your complaint as it would be discriminatory. Howver, I don't think you wilbe able to furnish us with the evidence.

I am not aware of any in my area but the way i look at it is that some of society give homosexuals such a difficult time they deserve any services given to them. Its far easier to be straight, i would imagine, why does that mean we get the rough end of the stick? it annoys me that people think sexuality is a choice. You are born who you are so just stop moaning and let people be. Why not complain about services given to criminals or violent thugs etc?

Apparently being Hetero isn't ' normal' anymore.

The Local Authorities have to cater to the minorities because they may be perceived as being discriminating.
Then the social groups can sue.

As a straight man I have no rights whatsoever.
If I was Gay I'd get a much better deal because whoever I was dealing with would be afraid I'd scream 'Anti-Gay'.
Everyone knows this is fact.
Most Gay people aren't like this (although a small percentage take advantage).

Sometimes if someones 'rights' are forced down peoples throats, the majority react badly. The merits of EVERY case should be judged on relevant facts and NOTHING ELSE.

In the world today being POLITICALLY CORRECT has gone way too far.

Everybody should treated the same, just because you are different from others, you shouldn't have 'rights' above others.

Sometimes a B*rst*rd is simply a B*rst*rd.
The fact of sexual preference is irrelevant!

Do couples get asked if they are Gay at an adoption interview?
NO.
SO WHY MAKE IT AN ISSUE IF SEXUALITY DOESN'T MATTER??

I cannot bear the thought that The Local Government takes so much of my hard earned cash in Council Tax. I was incensed when I learnt that they had given a very big charitable donation to a Homosexual & lesbian group, because they are on the fringe of soceity. If I want to donate my money to charity, I am perfectly able to choose one of my own. It does make them look good!
But I worked hard and long hours for that money.

I fail to see what you're talking about.

If you mean the current plans to ensure government funded adoption agencies can't turn away homosexual couples purely on that grounds then you don't know what you're talking about. The plans are to ensure that homosexual couples have the same rights as everyone else in this matter.

i think of i could scream with exhilaration if i found gay merchandising right here.... i discover that in case you do no longer end, take a step lower back and attempt to seem at issues from many perspectives you will leave out issues. like the guy who mentioned that. needless to say they're observing it from a heterosexual perspective only. needless to say they do no longer associate heterosexuals kissing, conserving hands, exhibiting something that screams heterosexual as merchandising yet whilst human beings of the LGBT community do the appropriate comparable issues crimson alarms sound and the words "merchandising homosexuality" pops into their heads. We do might desire to be shown greater and to drill "that's okay to be gay" via human beings's ignorant heads.

I have two younger sisters - one of whom is a lesbian while the other is straight. I have never noticed at any point the slightest difference in how the local authorities treat them. I guess it must just be your local council because it mine does not do this.

I think that different social groups get funding for different things. Why should homosexuals be any different, all things being equal?
