Would help if I knew if you were using Yahoo Hotmail whatever.
But usually, reply or compose an email and within the reply/new mail there'll be an 'attach' link/button. Click that and it should be self-explanatory

This rather of course depends on what email program/site you are using. However on most there will be an option of attach a file somewhere above the box where you write the text.

generally all email softwares and websites provide a button named as 'attach'. Just click it and then browse to select the file you want to attach.
