Heloo....
seen as u have a problem with your computer slowing down, the best AV in my opinion would be nod32. c 1st link. i havn't seen many people suggest it on yahoo answers! but should you go on computer forums, nod32 is the favourite.
nod32 is extremely light on resources and updates about 2-3 times daily. its very effective.
a free option would be AVG av. c 2nd link, after trying out other free AVs i concluded that AVG is the best free one and mind u, not heavy on resources either.
Another paid AV which is very good is Symantec Corporate-do not confuse it with Norton AV. But Symantec Corp AV is not widely available. As the name says, its a corporate software. I have NOD32 and Symantec Corp AV on my 2 computers and they r realy good.
