In my experience, having lived in both a hot country and a cold country, I find I am more irritable in the heat, and so are most people around me. in the cold,we bundle up and I'm more comfortable, and I believe the people around me are too.People complain more about the heat than the cold!
Russ B,you may be right! I grew up in a cold climate and that may be why I'm more comfortable in the cool..I would be surprised to hear an Aborigine complain about the heat, now that i think about it...

No I disagree. I believe if you grew up in a cold or hot country it wouldn't matter you would adapt to the environment (If you were born there and your parents lived there from childhood) If you are used to one climate and then go to a different climate that could have an emotional impact on your mood. BUT to say all people in warm countries are this and all people in cold countries are this would be stereotyping.

The factors of Social circumstances, Economy, Traditions, Family background etc. plays a major role in shaping the character of the individuals.
Climate also may affect to some extent but i feel it is not the major reason. However what i feel is that climate and geography have strong impact on certain traditions and they in turn are having some influence on characters.

Well, i remember doing sociology in college, apparently death rates are higher in countries such as UK is because they do experience the 4seasons and one of them is winter. Due to this climate change where the sky is dim, it made those who are already depressed to be more in the depression state and end up killing themselves... its proven scientifically.. sorry i cant give u any references because I'm tight down with work... cheers...
