But you couldn't do anything to change it, (for instance, if you were going to get hit by a bus in 3 years, You couldnt stay home to avoid it..no matter what you did, you were going to get hit by that bus), Would you want to know? or would you rather not?

hi
this is actually a very complex question, if you look deep into it.
i personally know a few people who know how they are going to die. and from this reaction, i can see nothing in their attitude or actions that suggests anything different from that of a person who does not know his means of death.
if i myself had a choice to know how i would die, i suppose i would, and no point in trying to avoid it.

If I thought I was going to be strapped down and tortured such as being dropped into an acid vat, etc., I wouldn't have much of a life knowing it's gonna happen some time in my life. However, if I could take some painkillers with me since I know exactly when, where, and how it will happen, sure I'd want to know. I can't prevent it, but at least I can mitigate its dreadfulness and painfulness.

yeah, I would love to know. if you say no matter what happens it's still going to occur then i would live my life to the fullest. I would get the best life insurance for myself so when I go my family wouldn't be left in the dark.
