It's not only the Indian team. All teams are experimenting this with the batting orders to find the right combination to suit the Caribbean pitches. I think Indian team should have done that a long time ago, since the pitches in India almost resembles the ones in the Caribbean.

Just to pick out the consistence plyers and his batting style in various positions.
Now ganguly and yuvraj came back.Uthppa had a fine knock. Pathan back.Zaheer doing well. Sachin finding his nick.
But u have lot of players but u can list only 15 plyers for World cup. So u want to find out which plyer suits for which place.And how he is consistence.

Just to strike the right combination of the team for the WC 2007. Certain players are out of form and India need to make provision for those players and give the alternatives some match practice.

Indian cricket has plenty of players.One reason is to experiment each players talents.Gone years have witnessed batting legend
sachin tendulkar,saurav ganguly,rahul dravid etc.But now a question has arised after these great players who's next?.
Lets hope for an upcoming sachin ,ganguly,dravid,kapildev etc.

It is chappel who is over experimenting with indian cricket. He has to realise that Indians are no aussies. Different people require different treatment.Indian cricketers can never be as flexible as aussies.
