i have been late on my period for about 2 months now, and i have taken 2 pregnancy test and they all come back negative. I have been extremely tired and have not been feeling well at all. I tend to get pain in my back and lower abdomin every once in a while, kind of like mentrual cramps. I havent had any bleeding at all so could i still be pregnant even tho i keep getting negative results? i had regular periods before that.I feel miserable and often nauseas. I dont know whats going on. HELP!

When a woman who used to be getting her period stops getting it, it is called "secondary amenorrhea".
Here are the common causes of it (from http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003149.htm ) :
* Pregnancy
* Stress and anxiety
* Drastic weight reduction
* Hormonal imbalance (such as with polycystic ovarian syndrome)
* Endocrine disorders such as thyroid disease or pituitary disease/tumor
* Other illness
* Excessive exercise
* Menopause (normal for women over age 45)
* Medications, including birth control pills and other contraceptives
* Uterine scarring, usually from procedures such as dilation and curettage (D and C)
Here are more possible causes (from http://www.webmd.com/content/article/9/2953_495.htm)
* Stopping the use of birth control
* Stress
* Poor nutrition
* Depression
* Certain drugs
* Sudden weight gain or being very overweight (obesity)
* Tumors on the ovaries or brain (rare)
It is important to have your doctor find out what is causing it.
Check out http://www.webmd.com/content/article/9/2953_495.htm to see how the doctor will test you.
Considering the abdominal pain you have, I would suspect polycystic ovarian syndrome.
I was having pain and cramps and tiredness like you describe, and it turned out I had a large ovarian cyst.
If cysts are causing your troubles, I'd like to reassure you that cysts can be easily removed, with minimal suffering.
Good luck.

Sometimes those over-the-counter pregnancy tests do not work properly. You need a doctor administered blood test to be sure, 'cause it SOUNDS like you are pregnant, but it could be something medically serious as well.
If you are taking the pill, stop at once (and, er, hold off on sex) until you find out, because if you ARE pregnant, you could harm the baby.
For general nausea, try eating a few "low salt" saltine crackers, drink lots of water, and be sure to get plenty of rest. Another help for nausea is a good multi-vitamin (as an unbalanced body is generally lacking in nutrients), but when I was pregnant, i couldn't keep anything down for months.
Good luck to you!

Nothing is conclusive without a proper physical examination and a complete blood test. It is entirely possible to have negative results if a tubal pregnancy has taken place.
Asking questions in a forum like this may not be what you should rely on. It is best to consult one on one with your doctor or Gynaecologist These people are better able to determine the cause of your discomfort and put your mind and body at ease.
Make an appointment immediately as Tubal pregnancy is a life threatening situation if left untreated.

Go to the dr get your blood drawn so they can run a test. If your cramping and you are pregnant the doctor needs to keep an eye on that

The best thing i can suggest is you need to see a doctor.
You may be pregants so ask for a blood test this can show up early stages of pregnancy.
I would do this as soon as possible even if it is just to put your mind at rest.
Good Luck

If you lose too much weight or if you are extremely underweight it is possible that your periods will stop and you can sometimes get nausea. You may want to check your weight requirements.'m not sure about the pain in the back and abdomen though.

Go see an OB/GYN. You may be pregnant and you may not be. 2 months without having a period and not knowing why is too long. If you are you need prenantal care and vitamins. If you're not you may need other medical care.
