Because then we would have to take two tests. The second one would tell how much we learned.

In life you are tested all the time and the test is the lesson - the question is DID YOU LEARN?
If you don't learn, there is a pretty good chance you may not get another opportunity to learn the lesson - certain tests/ lessons can prove fatal.
To the lady who says she has not learned any lessons i would suggest that you don't get to 5 years old without learning lessons much less 37 years old. Every pain that has been inflicted on you, every relationship you have, every emotion you feel is a lesson.

It's called growing up.
As a child, you learn lessons which prepare you for the real tests of life which lie ahead. The lessons you learn later on are what guide you as you go through adulthood.

school is to prepare you for life.
the rest of your life is a test of what you learn in school plus what you learn from experience and you pass or fail on that basis and learn from that and apply it to the next situation and samyln if you have not learnt a single lesson in your 37years of "experience",then how is it possible that you answer this question, how did you "learn" to write and how did you "learn" to speak. if someone else wrote this for you?????
not all lessons happen in schools.
God bless,
gabe

Because the test in school is to check how much you know and the test in life is to check if you know the lesson you are going to learn to tell yourself to do and follow the lesson!

school is a lab where we inculcate life's lessons whether its manners or math. In real life it's much the same, if only we pay attention. The only difference is that in school they usually announce when the test will come, in real life you may see it coming (again, if you are paying attention) or a total surprise.
