You mean corporal punishment.... and yes it should be.
The younger generation has no discipline and it shows. They are a bunch of pampered over indulged brats.

that's 'corporal'. the best thank you to spell, Commie. i'm 13. 'lower back in the day...' have not you heard of the Columbine shootings? If we had corporal punishment, it worse be worse. The oppressed continually spring up. seem at Syria! And are you justifying that each and every individual who hasn't been spanked will replace right into a crazed shooter? Spanking has no longer something to do with it. that's greater approximately psychological ailment or bullying. SO close UP

Mankind are entering the age of maturity, brutal punishement is no loger suitable. Many world agencies have called for elimination of corporal and capital punishment. Men will become more self-disciplined by their high level of education.

Absolutely not. Anyone who puts their hands or anything else on a child should be locked up. If you have to hit a child to get them to understand what you want them to do, then you are in the wrong. Ever heard of sitting a child down and taking the time to talk to them? That works better than hitting.

I think it probably should. No one today is scared or respectful of any one or anything. They laugh at Police. In Australia, on Australia Day. an old blind lady was bashed and robbed of a small amount of money. Because she is blind, she cannot even describe her attackers. What sort of mongrel are we living amongst? They need punishment, and they need it now.

If it's done under proper supervision I believe in it. I went to school in another country where it was legal and it certainly didn't affect me - in fact, I believe without it I would have failed.
It also shapes you as a man.

I worry that violence breeds violence. Corporal punishment should only be allowed between consenting adults.

And major pain. Would be more of a deterrent than these almost useless ASBOs. Though, thanks to Blair and his Human Rights Act, I can't see it being brought back.
