My husband and I want to relocate to New Jersey or Penn. Can anyone recommend....?

some reasonably affordable, low crime rural areas to live and what cities surround them to get jobs? Thank you!

I would recommend somewhere near Wilkes-Barre, PA, in example, as there the crime rate is very low and in the area (Wilkes-Barre and Scranton) there is employment. Also, the cost of housing & living in general is lower and the quality of life very good. Either Lucerne Co., Lacawanna Co. or even Bradford Co. area which is even more so country living.

I live in Western Pennsylvania and their are absolutely no jobs right now.
