Rosehip belongs to the family of "Bioflavonoids" and has anti-inflammatory properties. The best way of including rosehip in her diet Vitamin C with Bioflavonoids - check the label for the rosehip. 1000 mg, 3/day P.S. Other beneficial supplement for arthritis is "fish oil" - liquid form - get from a natural health store.

As a qualified herbalist, I wouldn't recommend taking herbal medicines as well as conventional ones. The general rule is "either or, not both".
Roships are full of vitamin C in fact a cupful of rosehips contains more vit C than 50 oranges.
As for arthritis, I would recommend celery seed tea. It is VERY good, especially combined with nettles.

I do not know about rosehip. Glucosamine is believed to help in the repair of cartilage and prevent further damage to the joint. Shark cartilage also help in reduction of pain. Grape seed extract reduces inflammation. More information on natural remedies for arthritis at http://aches.in/naturalcuresarthritis.html

I was given a great cure for arthritis. Take a measure of dry sultanas, put into a sealable jar and cover with gin. Eat a couple every day with your cereal. I don't like gin and had no sultanas so I substituted dried apricots and rum. On a cold winters morning they are great... I never had arthritis so can't say if that side of the 'cure' worked................

The main ingredient in rose hips is vitamin C, and I don't think that will interfere with the medicine. Yes, it is good for bones and joints. If you are concerned, ask the pharmacist. Some pharmacists are skeptical about vitamins, but they should know whether it would interfere with the meds.

I agree with the herbalist. There is an all natural herbal product in health food stores called Zyflamend. I have many friends using this for inflammation and it does work.

Just take the two at different hours of the day and you should be fine. Most people dont realize that they should NOT take prescribed drugs with over-the-counter medications or with vitmains, minerals and herbs. All should be taken separate from one another. So you were wise to ask that question. Always seek for answers and not just assume.

Xango juice is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-oxident. Many people are experiencing relief from pain by useing Xango.
Consult with your doctor and ask him if there are any reasons why you should not take both your tablets and Xango.
