i think gareth should definitely stay at southampton until at least the end of this season & if they get promoted 1 season with the saints in the premier league, i think he would have limited 1st team action at either club( with the exception of a cup run)therefore my answer would be for gareth to remain at the saints for the time being.

i reckon under fergie he would win more medals however spurs would be a better move if he wants to develop more as a player. From saints to man u is a pretty big jump and i feel that under martin jol the transition from the championship to the premiership would be smoother if he went to spurs

man utd will be the best move for him..sir alex has made an offer to loan him straight back to saints..this chance seldom come by a young lad..especially the talented ones..he plays regular football at saints till he turns 18..maybe 19..then come back to trafford.he still get to play week in week out football and will not be frozen like walcott and wright-phillips..southampton will be the real winner..by being million pounds richer and still get to play gareth bale.

Man Utd for sure coz he has the opportunity to play in champions league which is a great exposure. Who doesn't want to join Man Utd when opportunity comes knocking their way.

i'm hoping so as hes a high quality participant which will only get greater valuable... yet in actuality i cant see it going on as though the rumours i hear are actual hes destined for previous Trafford. youthful Mr Bale could quite be an asset on the Lane and we could do with him as the two left backs we at the instant have are no longer as much as the interest IMHO.

He will stay at saints for this year, and if we go up he will stay for another season. If he was to go I think he should advoid going to Man Utd, otherwise you can see him becoming another SWP, and he has bags of talent to. So Spurs it would have to be, they have a good young squad to.

I don't think he is likely to get many opportunities as a United player. He should either stick with Southampton or look for other suitable options.

He'd be a mug if he goes to Spurs. Even if he does go to Spurs then he'll just leave to go to a big club in a couple of years anyway. Most of their best players realise that they ain't gonna win owt worthwhile @ 'The Lane' nowadays - Campbell & Carrick spring to mind & it wont be long before the likes of Lennon, Huddlestone et al do one too.
