lets just say (and btw hope it never happens) that u did something awfully awful and then as punishment had to lose either ur sight, hearing or speaking ability, which would u choose to be, deaf, blind or dumb.

I'd go with dumb. Actions speak louder than words...
I would still be able to enjoy movies, music, beautiful views...and if I really need to communicate, I can use sign language, point, play charades, and always have a pen and paper handy or one of those little gadgets that speak what I write.

I couldn't pick. If I was blind I wouldn't be able to see my kids smiling. if I was deaf I wouldn't be able to hear them laughing and playing. If I was dumb I wouldn't be able to tell them i love them at least ten times a day like I do now.
Couldn't I just lose a foot or something instead?

I wouldnt want to be dumb, because I would get so frustrated.
I wouldnt want to be blind. because I have to see who I am talking too.
I rather be deaf, because I can always learn sign language.
I can be a smart perfect vision deaf girl.
PS I had this conversation with my brother last night. So weird you brought it up.

Well, in these days of technology, and seeing as how far in the future I expect to live, I'd choose dumb, because I want to see my friends, hear my friends, and you don't need to speak to do work, type stuff, and communicate in general.

I would choose to be deaf,at least with my sight that I can watch my children take their first steps,see their first school play and watch them become adults,and my speech ,so that I can tell my children that I love them and I am proud of them,and so that I could still sing,and sing my children lullaby's when they are small.
