The reason why the so called 'new labour' are still in power is because of two reasons.
1) The other choices for running the country are worse than what we have.(IE The conservatives, Lib Dems and the BNP....not much of a choice really).
2)The people of Britain have lost the will to complain and some one has ripped out there spines.
One day this country will be controlled by a certain nation, a nation that will make Adolf Hitler look like Peter Pan on acid.
This controlling nation will remould this country, and others, into a backward country, dragged back to the 18th century.
God,(which ever god we prey to), help us all.

If you are speaking of America, then it is because hardly anyone that can vote doe's.People think that their one little vote won't matter but actually all those add up.People need to change the system not the system change them. That is why our founding fathers made the Declaration of Independence in the first place so we the people can make changes.I have watched the House of Representatives on I think channel 14 or 15,anyway most of them were not at work and 4 that I watched was asleep. They should be in a nursing home instead of running the most powerful country in the world.Your right they all sure as hell vote their raise in.They should make those positions 2 terms max, just like the President's.Some of those congressmen and women have been on their position for decades.

The only possible way to get rid of a useless governments mid term is for the Leader of one of the Opposition parties bringing in a vote of no confidence. There are so many examples of when this should have been done but, incredibly, has not happened. It would probably fail because Labour MP's would not want to risk losing their seats but I would have more respect for Cameron and co if they at least stuck their heads above the parapet.

Tone as created a world where so many people rely on the government for their living that it is almost impossible to get a vote against him.You only have to add up the civil servants, add to them the unemployed, sick lame and lazy, not to mention all the imports from Europe who I am sure will very shortly be given the vote and short of a mass assassination we have got this corrupt lot for ever.

One thing we must learn about education is that there are a lot of high school drop outs. You want to see better educated minds? Then you better eliminate the GED. If you drop out of school for any other reason rather than a kid, you're most likely just lazy.

Without this government we'd be in "total anarchy." Most of us would not wipe our a** if we weren't told to.

Because we fell for their lies when they promised us all the earth, and we were so keen to get rid of Conservatives. However, we are paying the price now, and we should vote them out when the time comes.

Wonder where the Monster Raving Looney Party went to.........?

for the same reason we have liberals here. voting is esentially a popularity contest and can often deviate from whats right and or common sense. if enough people believe whats being sold to them they vote for it and hence you have the party in power. again, being voted in doesnt mean being right.
