They can be annoying things, or perhaps nice things that just get in the way.

1. My secretary who seems to think that I enjoy her constant chatter.
2. My secretary who seems to think we all enjoy her less than melodious voice singing along to her gospel music.
3. Constantly having to answer the phone because my secretary is busy doing nothing important.
4. People that want to pop into my office just to say "Hi".
5. My friends calling me because they are bored and want to say "Hi' while I am at work.
6.When I am at home it's still the telephone which I can't not answer because I am on call.
7. Let the dog out, let the dog in, let the dog out, let the dog in, let the dog out, let the dog in.
8.Living out in the country and having dialup so I get booted everytime the phone rings.
9.Daydreaming cause what the heck I don't seem to be able to get much done anyway.
10.Kids.

For me, because I work at home, i have a lot to distravct me, like cleaning the dishes in the sink, calling firends, because they are easily accessible to me than if I was at an office; another is that the work seems tedious that you want to put it off as long as you can, so you think of things that you can do to avoid the work load in front of you.
Te best way to counter that is to put all that aside, with your will, and concentrate on your work, knowing that when you finish, you can do those toehr things later with the worry that you would still have dead line to meet.

a stomach ache,muzak,a nice lookin goil,attention deficit,a squeeky chair,a nuisancy air vent aimed at the back of your head, ,a page every 20 minutes for someone fired 2 years ago,a chair with 3 supports one of which is lower than the others,last years calendar still on the wall,your boss has ,for the tenth time in an hour said,"future plans","past history"."general concensus",a smelly little trash can with perfume de olde coffee wafting up to your nostrils.
