Nightmares are a product of fear, we generate nightmares as a way of showing ourselves things we find threatening.
I analyse dreams as a hobby, and its amazing, that everything within a dream has a meaning. Even if its only a small symbol, it can be a large part of your life?
Dreams are also a way of telling you what you need to do. A friend of mine came to me after having nasty recurrent nightmares for a week, and it was the same thing, so i translated it for her and now shes changed something in her life, they have disappeared.
if you need any help feel free to send me an email

I've been having really bad nightmares for about the past couple of months. And I mean REALLY bad. Not sure of why. I'm not sure if it's just me or if there's some sort of weird mojo in the air lately. The headaches may just be because you might be hyperventilating in your sleep because of the nightmares.

Believe it or not, sometimes nightmare accompanied by headaches are sometimes your bodies way of letting you know there is a problem, such as a tumor. Most of the time though it is caused by stress. Your mind isn't letting go of it and therefore it culminates within your dream and the headache is of course a tension headache.

Try to avoid sugar, eat lots of protein and take vitamin B-1 which you can find at health food stores; but don't take it late in the day as it will keep you awake, (not after 4:00 p.m. or so).
Hope it helps.

Stop sleeping with your head under the blankets/duvet. You are reducing your oxygen supply when you sleep and your brain is telling you to wake up.

Just before you go off to sleep...do things you really like....either listen to your favourite song, watch a comedy...anything that brings a smile to your face. Then have sweet dreams...let me know if it works ;)
