I alreaady extracted it, (the one with the books in a box icon) but nothing happens in that folder... still can't play it.

You can also use 7zip to unrar/unzip compressed files. Install 7Zip then run. Choose your compressed file and right click the RAR file. Choose Extract here. An uncompressed subfolder will appear in the same folder as your RAR file, and the contents SHOULD be accessible -UNLESS- the RAR file requires a password (since you mentioned you're trying to play it) -OR- you might have to mount the file (does it have weird file extension like .mdf or .bin?) onto a virtual drive using an ISO tool like Alcohol 120%, ISOBuster or PowerISO.

You can use WinRAR or UltimateZip to unpack WinRAR files.
