On a gut level, however only a few truly happy people believe it. For if we could believe it, we would know that we are not only the creators of our misery, but can just as well construct our happiness.
What are your thoughts about that?

Our destiny is in our hands. If we control our mind rether than being controlled by it and work hard keeping our goal in mind..being focussed on what we want..we can achieve success..,for i believe that Everything comes at a price..If u opt for luxury when u had to work hard u get luxury for the time being but misery will soon follow..Rather if we work hard when it's required we can reap the benefits later..
The problem with people is ignorance and procrastination..If they fail or do something wrong they always have someone to blame...sometimes ignorance is bliss..they always put d blame on others n try to prove they were doin the right thing..instead if they had blocked their worries n worked when it was required they would have suceeded.. so i strongly believe that life gives us what we are willing to put into it.

A wise man once said ' do not sell prunes to traders for they already have prunes ' . On the same level the life giving us only what we are willing to put into it is simply not true . There's a guy accross the road who got a Jeep for Christmas - this is not beacuse of what he put into life but rather because of what his parents took out of the bank .

Life IS what you make it. (not so much it gives)
Life reflects your own nature back at you like a mirror.
If your nature is giving, then the reflection makes you also a receiver.
Happy persons are happy because they make others happy.
Miserable persons are so because they cause misery for others.

Choose the reflection you wish and then
project that reflection into the world around you.
