Well Nazifa, that is an extremely broad question considering the vast period of time that is considered 'ancient' Egypt. The Pharonic Era began in about 2800-2900 B.C., that is nearly 5,000 years ago. When I was researching Egypt an unnamed ruler called 'the scorpion king' (because the symbol of a scorpion is found above an etching of him) was believed to have been the first ruler to rule over Upper (Southern) and Lower (Northern) Egypt. Khasekhemwy was a second Dynasty Pharoah who is credited with uniting these two lands in peace. This was early in the Pharonic era... Netjerikhet (Djoser) is believed to have been the first Pharoah to have a pyramid built to house his remains. His pyramid (the Step Pyramid in Saqqara) was designed by his advisor Imhotep. Imhotep lived a long life, working for as many as six different Pharoahs. He was later Deified (made a god) by the greeks.
I could go on and on, consider the Pharonic era lasted 2000 years or so. If you have a more specific question let me know.
