hey man, it's not so much the quantity, but rather the quality of individuals.

Look at the social and intellectual royalty that showed up:
Susan Sarandon; Sean Penn; Tim Robbins; Jesse Jackson; and Jane Fonda.
Don't you know?.....these people speak for the entire leftist horde...:)

the low turn out proves that the tipping point has not been reached.

The turn out would be higher if the troops hadn't volunteered, they knew what they were getting into, they joined the military. Militarys fight wars.....

It also would be higher if the American people truly thought the war was unwinable, only a small minority think that, and some politicains who have a lot to gain by saying it.

Don't mistake apathy for support of the Iraq conflict.

And another point -> if you protest a war as is your right of Free Speech in the US why are you 'not supporting the troops'. Isn't bringing the soldiers home the greatest support of all and the end goal of any conflict?

Absolutely Not!!!!... Not all americans (people) want to go to street.

If your statement is true, then a lot of Americans should be on street supporting the war... None.. Does it mean none of the Americans support war?

Number in those rallies do not reflect the majority opinion.

I'm with No Name on this one. I am definitely against the war, but I am freakin' fried with school and work. If it would have been in the summer, when it was warm...I might have been there...unless there was a party elsewhere.

I think it does, and over the years..,the hollywood fruitcakes has lost credibility with most Americans as well.If you take a close look at most of those people, they are still stuck in the 60's,half of them looked like they hadnt bathed in years, geez, that could be the cause of global warming after all..,the stench off of them would kill anyone and anything.

Nah, it just proves that Americans are lazy and would rather rally on the Internet.

It's like watching church on television.

the turn out was not too low......got your attention and the medias....so it did what it was suppose to.............

protesting the war is not anti-troop
it is pro-troop
trying to save their valuable lives
from a bad war plan
or are all war plans perfect?
