In some senses, yes, in other senses, then no....here is why:

Some married couples do not have a happy marriage just because of the frequency, either stress, time spent at the office, or cheating/emotional problems of the spouse. These items are why marriage counselors thrive, and divorce court attorneys can make a living, and why books and magazines are sold about how to boost the sex experience.

Some singles have much sex, and fill the void of being wanted vs the rejection that they have felt while growing up in a less than ideal circumstance. This would amount to how many abortions take place per year, especially the growing amount in the UK. How sad, in the US, though, where many lives were lost in the Civil war against slavery, where man could dictate to another man what to do, and in some instances kill their slaves (kid you not, read history.) Singles are not committed to raising children, only paying for it by child support or alimony.

So the question, how much sex is needed? Or better yet, is sex needed?

Both, I feel. God did not create Adam and then leave him to "feed the sheep" so to speak, but He created Eve for companionship. People lived to be hundreds of years old back then, but, if you read about it, God told mankind that their days will be shortened due to the interest in the female race. Sex is a neccesity and distraction at the same time to God. The Bible did not say ever that no sex was tolerated, or much sex was ideal. This I would leave to you, as a discernable adult, capable of decisions fitting your relationship

Please use judgement, though, as there are also consequences (also told about in the Bible) like diseases, broken marriages, hearbreaks, etc. There is nothing now that has not been engaged by those who lived before us. The Bible tells great stories of triumph and also of great struggle. We are not alone, except the ignorance preventing us from learning about ourselves.

PS: I find on a humorous note that those promoting abortions are so ignorant about abortions that occurred in the Bible.

Read it for yourself, please, pop culture is so against anyone thinking or learning for knowlege, they would have you rather as a robot instead....

There's no regulated amount of sex you "should" be having. Everyone "needs" a different amount, and there's no way you can have too much given you can't wear your bits out by having sex too much, they don't have a limited number of uses, so there's no need to restrict the amount of sex you have.

Hellooooooo...........which part of the world you are in?? There are more people who are sex starved and who are doing things not to be done just because they dont get what they want. Sex when had with proper mind set and physical conditions, you can have it unlimited.

Don't understand your question at all.....

Who single people enjoying solosex?

Married couples enjoying couples sex?

More than we "need?"

How do you define "need?"

People have sex when they want to love each other and/or enjoy an orgasm; simple as that.

Some do it more, some do it less.

There's no "yardstick" for what's too much or too little.

So what if we do as long as it makes us happy? I probably, no I know I have way too many shoes, but I love them and they make me happy so why can't I buy more? I can! Same with sex, if it makes you and your partner happy, indulge! There are so many things we can't have these days, why deny yourself?
