Longer sessions can be very beneficial. They give you more time to work out your experiment or project. If you do get done and have time left over, then you can help someone else who may be having problems understanding what they are supposed to do, or get ahead on the next project or experiment. This one helps if you happen to be absent, you are already ahead so therefore, you are not behind because you missed class. Helping other students shows good citizenship qualities also. Use your time wisely and help when you can.
