I don't know of a special name for someone who makes coffins. The person who handles burial arrangements is an undertaker; there may be a term for the sub-specialty of corpse preparation but if so I've never heard it. Apparently the terms 'undertaker' and 'mortician' may be more or less specific, with some overlap, depending on conventional usage at a particular time and place.

Is it "embalmer" who dresses and makes the body look nice? My mum has done it a few times when she worked in a care home as no one else was brave enough to do it so I'm quite sure that's what the job is called. I'm not sure about the coffin maker

In the old west, it was the carpenter's job to measure a person for their coffin and make it. It was not a good sign if he was measuring them while they were still alive.
