Well she obviously thought her Mother was not quite worth the air fare.. since she left elbert square for florida she hasn't been back once and so none of her family left in jolly old england can be worth the £500 to fly over for a visit.. shame really would have been quite a good plot line! = )

the actress who plyed Michele, seems to just produce and direct now, also, they keep showing the same picture of the actress that played Michelle - so plans of replacing her with a new actress could be slim. Also - perhaps the air fare was too expensive.

Albert Square and its surroundings are actually in another dimension. Once you get out, it's incredibly hard to get back in. This would also explain why, when Bianca and Rickaaaaay got married, her family (who'd moved to South London, I believe) were unable to attend.

cause the producers wouldn't pay or couldn't convince susan tully to appear they probably quite wisely decided not to use an other actress cause of the public would have been critical they could have said she was in hospital tho or some other excuse
