Maybe drinking cold water will help
Maybe exercising will help
Maybe stop being over-worked and stressed out will help

Also, when taking pills you need to alternate IbProfen and Acetaphetamine every four hours

Sample pill schedule:
Noon: 2 Tylenol
4pm: 2 IB Profen
8pm: 2 Tylenol
12am: 2 IB Profen
etc
etc
etc

Good Luck
If the fever does not come down in the next two days, go to the emergency room and get checked out. Having a fever for too long can cause brain damage and hurt you!

Be careful and go to the doctor

Firstly drink lots of water and stay hydrated. make sure you are in a cool environment. You can also try sponging yourself with tepid water (neither hot or cold - room temp). do you know what the cause of your temperature rise is? fever can often be caused by virus/infection which will need to be targeted for your fever to drop. If none of that applies, then as long as your fever does not go above 38 dont stress too much...if it doesnt drop in a couple of days, go back to the dr.

37.0 C is the usual body temp, but anything over 37.3 is considered a fever - drink plenty of water, take a few panadol, keep a cool cloth handy to wipe over your face and neck when u feel very hot, and take luke warm showers and baths then and take it easy for a day or two - take a few days off work, watch some TV and just sleep.

You body obviously needs time to fight some type of infection or something so rest and let your body heal.

The fever is not the problem.....fevers are good, fevers fight infection....

The problem is having a persistant fever for 5 days is bad, you need to call the doctor back and explain that the fever is non-relenting. The source of the fever needs to be treated.....treating the fever alone is like drying off your car in the rain.
